We do not handle payments and we add no margin. Ariadne uses your own provider account.
Why this, and not a subscription
A subscription would mean you pay us monthly while we buy from the provider more cheaply and keep the difference. Our interest would then be for you to use it as little as possible.
We prefer an arrangement where our interest matches yours: the app is free, and you settle directly with the provider, at their prices and for what you actually use.

What costs
The conversation after the wake word, and the tasks the execution layer carries out. You pay the provider you hold an account with, directly.
Ariadne shows which agent it uses and lets you pick the model — from the cheapest to the most careful. You can also set how long it remembers: a shorter memory means cheaper requests.

Requires macOS 26 or later. The app updates itself quietly and holds the install until your conversation ends — nothing interrupts you mid-sentence.
